Dev Update #2: Your Garage, Your Style
Garage, Workshop, antilag, wardrobe and the store: everything we built so you can set up your car and driver your way.
Racing is half the fun. The other half is showing up to the meet in a car that looks like you. That's why customization was one of the first things we built in RUSH.
THE GARAGE
All your cars live in a 3D showroom. You pick your active car, see each one's drivetrain (FWD, RWD, AWD or 4x4) and find any car with search. The garage opens from the lobby or the pause menu, and a car you just bought shows up already selected.
Some cars have two handling profiles, Standard and Arcade. Your choice is saved for each car.
THE WORKSHOP
In the Workshop, the camera rotates and focuses on each part of the car while you swap the spoiler, bumpers, skirts, hood, roof, exhaust, roll cage, grille, wheels, wraps, headlights, suspension and window tint. Paint comes in metallic, matte or metals finishes, with free color for every area, including the dashboard and interior. Per-side neon and xenon also take any color.
If you like noise, antilag shoots flames and pops out of the exhaust, with six sounds and six flame colors, and the engine sound swap changes the car's roar. Everyone nearby sees and hears it all.
Everything you pick goes into a cart. Each item can be paid in Coins or Credits, anything you already own isn't charged again and, if you change your mind, the car goes back exactly the way it was.
THE WARDROBE
Your driver has style too. You can wear full outfits or individual pieces, split into tabs, and buy them right on the screen. The RUSH racing suit collection brings the Névoa, Lua and RON models plus 18 versions with sponsor logos.
THE STORE AND THE CURRENCIES
The store brings together cars, clothes, bundles and the RUSH Club, with weekly featured items and deals with countdowns. RUSH has two currencies: Coins, which you earn by playing, and Credits, which you buy. Your balance is always in view and updates instantly, even when you top up on the website.
